Sephria Reynolds-Tanner is a Criminal Justice and Drug Policy Analyst at Reason Foundation, where she conducts research and provides technical assistance to policymakers and stakeholders working to improve community supervision, reentry, and correctional practices.
Her work focuses on advancing evidence-based reforms to strengthen probation and parole, implement risk and needs assessments, and reduce barriers to successful reentry. Before joining Reason, Reynolds-Tanner served six years as a probation and parole officer and later as a policy analyst at the Council of State Governments Justice Center, where she worked on the Justice Reinvestment portfolio to promote consistency in supervision standards and drive statewide policy change.
