The Role Microschools Can Play in the Future of Education

How this alternative to the traditional public school system could benefit students, families, and teachers.

Microschools are miniature schools that often have no more than a dozen students. To learn more about this education model, Matthew Nielsen and I interviewed Kelly Smith, the founder and CEO of Prenda microschools.

We discussed how this alternative to the traditional public school system could benefit students, families, and teachers. Kelly also talked about how microschools have seen a substantial uptick in demand as a result of the COVID-19 lockdown.
