Listen to the Launch of the Education-Focused “Random Assignment” Podcast

A weekly podcast discussing the latest news and controversies in education, particularly as they relate to the school choice debate.

Bob Bowdon and I just launched a new weekly video podcast called “Random Assignment,” a joint project between Reason Foundation and Choice Media.

In our weekly podcast, Bob and I react to the latest news and controversies in education, particularly as they relate to the school choice debate. We also stream each of the videos live so that we can feature and respond to audience questions and comments in real-time.

In this episode, Bob and I discuss how some states have prevented students from accessing educational options during the COVID-19 crisis, how I uncovered Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s school choice hypocrisy during her presidential campaign, and something we like to call Universal Basic Education Income.

We also talk about a new survey finding that private schools have been more likely to continue providing virtual education than government-run schools during the coronavirus closures.
