Hunt Beaty

Hunt Beaty is a podcast producer at Reason.

Before coming to Reason, Beaty spent a decade working as a production sound recordist for outlets such as VICE, Funny or Die, and Google, delivering Emmy award-winning work on the travel show Born To Explore.

More recently, he's worked as a freelance producer of both podcast and video content for clients such as Spotify Originals, Gimlet, and LinkedIn.

In addition, after directing a lauded short film set in a sound recording booth called The Sound of Your Voice, Short of the Week said it was "Simple in concept, but powerful in execution…it's as much about sound as it is silence."

Originally from Nashville, he studied Film/TV production at NYU and is currently in New York City.
