Last week I participated in an online debate hosted by the LA Times. I tousled with Bart Reed of The Transit Coalition and we discussed all sorts of things related to transportation, transit, and urban form. Transportation guru Tom Rubin decided to respond to one of Bart’s responses to me, and Tom has given me the green light to reproduce it here. Below the fold I’ve included my post, then what follows is Bart’s response, with Tom’s comments embedded (indented text).
