Wendell Cox has released an invaluable update to his “World Urban Areas Population and Projections.” The document includes current population estimates and projections for 2025 and 2030 for 763 of the world’s largest urban places. This is an incredibly useful resource, and I’ve used past editions extensively. All the data is based on United Nation’s estimates for urban areas and agglomerations.
