Christian Whiton
Christian Whiton worked as the director of the Reason Foundation's 50th anniversary campaign.
Previously, Whiton was a principal at DC International Advisory. From 2003 to 2009, he was a U.S. State Department official serving first as a special advisor to the Under Secretary of State for Global Affairs, and then as a deputy special envoy. Before joining the State Department, he worked for the corporate finance practice of KPMG LLP, where he was a senior associate, overseeing daily activities of mergers and acquisitions engagements. He has worked on several presidential campaigns, focusing on communications and national security.
Whiton earned undergraduate degrees in History and Economics from Tulane University. He holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Whiton is the author of "Smart Power: Between Diplomacy and War," and has appeared on CNN, CNBC, Fox Business, Fox News, and other networks.His articles have been published by The Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, Time, Daily Caller, Huffington Post, and numerous other publications.
