Chris Williamson
Chris Williamson, Ph.D., AICP, is staff senior research associate in SRG's Ventura office where he assists William Fulton in directing Solimar's research program. Williamson is also a Research Associate Professor of geography at the University of Southern California, where he teaches geographic information science and participates in transportation research. Williamson has worked as a city planner in Long Beach, California; a project manager for ESA (and later PCR), two prominent environmental planning firms, and served as an analyst and special assistant to the director of the U.S. Census Bureau. He holds a B.S. in urban geography from Pennsylvania State University, a master's of planning and policy analysis from the University of Virginia (1981), and a Ph.D. in planning and policy analysis from the University of Southern California (1986).
