Policy Analyst, Privatization and Government Reform

Reason Foundation, a non-profit, public policy think tank, seeks a policy analyst to focus on privatization, performance-based contracting, and government reform. Specific responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Provide research support for and manage research projects on privatization and performance-based contracting.
  • Plan and execute communication about project research and activities, including list management, writing, coordinating mailings, and developing partnerships with other organizations.
  • Support efforts to provide education, coaching and relevant materials to elected officials interested in learning more about privatization and government reform.

Qualified candidates should have a solid understanding of free-market public policy and strong communications skills. A relevant graduate degree, experience in public policy, privatization and project management are all desired.

Job location is negotiable; DC or LA are preferred. Candidates at all levels of experience are invited to apply. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
