Policy Analyst, Infrastructure Finance

Reason Foundation, a non-profit, public policy think tank, seeks a policy analyst to specialize in research on the maintenance and financing of essential infrastructure, including highways, bridges, aviation, drinking water, waste, dams, transit, and more.

Specific responsibilities are likely to include:

  • Provide research support for and manage research projects on both the condition of major categories of infrastructure, and on infrastructure finance.
  • Plan and execute communication about project research and activities, including list management, writing, coordinating mailings, and developing partnerships with other organizations.
  • Support efforts to provide education, coaching and relevant support materials to elected officials interested in learning more about the issue.

Qualified candidates should have a solid understanding of free-market public policy and strong communications skills. A relevant graduate degree, experience in public policy, finance, and project management are all desired.

Job location is negotiable; DC or LA are preferred. Candidates at all levels of experience are invited to apply. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
