Wall Street “Reform” Passes the House

The House passed the financial services reform bill today 223 to 202, will all GOP members and 27 democrats voting against The Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. The bill went through some last minute changes on the floor of the House in the past 48 hours, but those changes weren’t enough to salvage what is a dangerous and damaging bill.

The focus will now shift to the Senate which is slowly putting together its version of financial reform.
