TSA Doesn’t Work…Are You Surprised?

Seriously, are you surprised? If you’ve flown in the last three years you know what I’m talking about. The Government Accountability Office found statistically significant evidence that passenger screeners, who work at five airports under a pilot program, perform better than their federal counterparts at some 450 airports. A second report by the homeland security department further noted that TSA screeners performed no better in covert tests after a stinging assessment last year on failures to detect prohibited items at airport security checkpoints. Oh, don’t forget to leave your lighters at home…feeling safer yet?
