The teacher as student

I thought the US was supposed to lead the way in privatization. France has us beat in toll roads and privatized water. Canada, and even formerly communist Azerbaijan, have us beat with corporatized air traffic control. And now Ghana is privatizing trains? Meanwhile, at home, Amtrak still loses money and holds onto funding. Many nations new to liberty have studied American traditions well and increasingly use this knowledge to pull themselves up from economic backwardness. Maybe it’s time for us to learn from them.
