School services outsourcing in Michigan

The latest issue of the Michigan Privatization Report has some good stuff on school outsourcing. A survey showing outsourcing of support services by MI schools grew from 31% of districts in 2001 to 35.5% in 2005. Competitive sourcing by school distrcits for specialized personnel.
