I spoke today at the Atlas Economic Research Foundation monthly meeting on international issues about the Turkish economic downturn and trends in global financial services regulation. I joined two other accomplished speakers on the discussion panel: Marius Gustavson from Norway’s Civata Institute, who spoke on the Norwegian experience and argued against inflation targeting, and Tsvet Tsonevski, who recounted the Bulgaria experience with following more free market reforms.
Tsvet spoke first, Maruis went second, my talk begins around the 39th minute on the video linked here (you can click forward on the video to whatever section you want to see.)
