Public Water Systems Buys Private Water!

The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, which operates the city’s water and wastewater systems, spent nearly $90,000 to buy bottled water for employees. While this may not seem like a big deal, the department spent over a million dollars last year to assure residents that their tap water is not only safe but that its top quality. So which is it: is the water good enough for your own employees or not?
