Deregulating internet trade

It is fascinating to me how E-Bay has allowed people to exchange goods that even the best of the face-to-face or catalogue sales systems could never touch. How many thousands of tons of goods are exchanged each year on E-bay and other internet services that otherwise would have wound up in a landfill? Internet trade is a great boon to reuse, which is far more important than recycling. This article looks at legislative battles E-bay is fighting to prevent the usual suspects from regulating all this wonderful trade out of existence.
