Collateral damage

A letter from the Governator’s administration points out that in typical blunt-instrument fashion, California’s regulations dictating nurse/patient ratios has led to hospitals to close down wards and even in some cases close down entirely. Thank god the legislature saved some people from having an opportunity to go to a hospital. I guess no nurses are better than too few, eh?
