Matthew Hisrich

Bio
Matthew Hisrich is a policy analyst with The Buckeye Institute. He graduated Cum Laude with a B.A. in Political Economy from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan. At Hillsdale, Matt was a founding member of both the College Libertarians and the Acton Circle.
Mr. Hisrich interned with the National Journalism Center in Washington, D.C., The Washington Times and was a correspondent with The National Catholic Register before taking his current position with the Institute. He has been published in Ideas on Liberty as well as a variety of Ohio papers addressing such topics as urban renewal, farmland preservation and education. In 2001, Mr. Hisrich was named a finalist for the Felix Morley Journalism Award from the Institute for Humane Studies.
