Senate bailout: 74-25 in favor

The vote was too much to not enough. After tweaking the bailout plan, the Senate passed the $700 billion Wall Street measure overwhelmingly, with three-fourths of the United States Senators voting in favor 74-25 (Sen. Kennedy has been hospitalized). Now the bill moves to the House, where reviews are mixed, but are learning towards passing the measure. The House is expected to vote on the bill sometime late Thursday or Friday. Libertarians remain somber.
