Ignore the partisan asides in Mark Steyn’s column in National Review, and he makes some telling points about absurdities in the Administrations reaction to the most recent terrorist attack.
As he points out, derision for the new rules TSA put in place did run high. And it does look like TSA finally woke up and smelled the stupidity and “eased some of the new restrictions”. See here and here.
