If you like free trade and Bloom County ?

You’ll appreciate this Hit & Run comment from “Jennifer,” who references Friday’s Stossel special which, among other things, criticized farm subsidies:

That farming bit reminded me of the old Bloom County cartoon where Opus decided to be a farmer. Milo gave him a farmers’ aptitude test, where you had to be able to say the following two sentences without laughing: “Keep them flat-footed goombahs in Washington outta my business. Hurry up with my federal bailout check.” Opus, to his credit, never made it past the word “up.”

BTW, I cut out the very last Bloom County strip and got it singed by Berkeley Breathed. Jealous?
