CFPA Vote Might Be This Week

Last week the House Financial Services Committee passed a derivatives reform bill, the second piece sent out of committee of the larger effort to reform Wall Street regulations. The FSC also debated measures of the third piece of reform, the Consumer Financial Protection Agency last week and Chairman Frank has said he hopes to wrap up the review on CFPA this week.

The first piece of reform was passed out of committee and the full House of Representatives back at the end of July. After CFPA the FSC will likely turn to systemic risk regulation reform.
