From Yolo County, CA. The county has been working for 2 years to condemn the Conway Ranch, ostensibly to "preserve open space" even though the long -standing and public plans of the owners were agriculture and an environmental preserve. The real deal is the county wanted the water and mineral rights on the ranch. After a 2 year fight the county finally gave up, alas not in shame.
