Sharif Matar

Sharif Matar moved from Honolulu, Hawaii, to study Communications at Santa Clara University in Silicon Valley. His studies include economics and film theory at University of Cambridge and Brown University. Sharif has worked as a writer, director, and editor on numerous short films and commercial productions in California that have garnered attention and shown in numerous film festivals including the Cannes Film Festival.

Sharif produces long and short form documentaries covering issues including education, drug policy and economics. He is currently helping produce and create VFX for the feature length documentary about the drug war called America's Longest War.
