What about the "insourcing" of jobs from offshore?

The Organization for International Investment is a great source of information on the insourcing part of the economy--a nice contrast to the flood of information about outsourcing.

New foreign direct investment (FDI) in the U.S. increased in 2003 by $82 billion, over twice the amount from the previous year, according to numbers released by the Commerce Department on March 12. The increased capital investment could boost jobs supported by U.S. subsidiaries by 400,000.
