Additionally, in May 2015 Reason Foundation announced that Purdue University President and former two-term Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels is the recipient of the inaugural Savas Award for Public-Private Partnerships, a new award recognizing an individual or organization whose actions improved the cost-effective provision of public services through partnerships with private organizations.
