The Epix documentary DEEP WEB, tells the inside story of the arrest of Ross Ulbricht, the 31-year-old entrepreneur who was convicted in May of being the mastermind and operator the online black market known as Silk Road.

Documentary filmmaker Alex Winter, who wrote, directed, and produced DEEP WEB, will participate in a Q&A session immediately following the screening.

Alex worked closely with the Ulbricht family as well as a number of figures behind the rise of the Deep Web-cryptographers, Bitcoin experts, journalists, merchants-who now find themselves caught in the crosshairs of the battle for control of our digital future. Reason  has covered the Silk Road saga since 2013, including Brian Doherty’s feature-length look at the case.
