Robert Scheer and Thaddeus Russell in Conversation, Los Angeles, July 9

  •  July 9, 2013
     8:00 am

Since his work in the 1960s as editor-in-chief and Vietnam correspondent for Ramparts magazine, Robert Scheer has been one of the preeminent journalists of the American left and—almost uniquely among his political counterparts—sympathetic to libertarian critiques of state power. On KCRW’s weekly political debate show, “Left, Right, and Center” and on Truthdig.com, Scheer consistently applauds libertarians for their positions on foreign policy, civil liberties, the war on drugs, bailouts, and the Fed.

On Tuesday, July 9, you are cordially invited to be in the studio audience for a Reason.tv conversation between Scheer and Reason contributor Thaddeus Russell:

Tuesday, July 9
