Reason’s Nick Gillespie and Matt Welch present their case for bringing America’s 18th-century political system up to date. Their manifesto for libertarian principles, The Declaration of Independents: How Libertarian Politics Can Fix What’s Wrong With America, includes profiles of libertarian thinkers and activists and a detailed critique of the two major political parties.

Gillespie and Welch will discuss their book at DC’s Politics and Prose bookstore on July 19 at 7pm. A book signing will follow the discussion.
