Gerald Friedman, who rose to prominence in 2016 by defending Bernie Sanders’ economic agenda, is author of the 2020 book, The Case for Medicare for All. Prof. Friedman even claims that his plan would be “considerably less expensive than the current healthcare finance system.”

On Wednesday, August 19, Gerald Friedman will take the virtual stage in a Soho Forum Online Debate to defend the resolution, The Covid-19 pandemic makes it all the more urgent for the U.S. to install a system of Medicare for All.
