Mobility Choice Legislative Briefing Set for Thursday on Capital Hill

The Mobility Choice Coalition, a newly formed group to promote market-oriented transportation policy solutions, is holding a briefing on transportation reauthorization in Washington, D.C. at noone on Thursday, September 30, 2010.

I will discuss the importance of devolving responsibility for transportation investments from the federal to state and local levels. I will also discuss Reason Foundation's recent policy report on Restoring Trust in the Highway Trust Fund.

The event is open to the public. Here are the details:

Following on the Administration's recent transportation plan announcement, the Mobility Choice Coalition invites you to a congressional pizza lunch THURSDAY, September 30 at Noon in Rayburn 2322 to discuss the barriers that stand in the way of making transit an economic and appealing option and what can be done to remove them.
