National Smart Growth Conference, Featuring Reason Foundation's Sam Staley, Presented by Houstonians for Responsible Growth

Experts from around the nation and world will be on hand in Houston, October 21st from 2-5 PM to discuss the advantages and pitfalls of “Smart Growth” approaches to urban development. Of national significance is the role that market distorting policies have had on the housing collapse and, by comparison, alternative growth strategies used by spitfalls. We expect both local and national media attention to this timely topic. 

Reason Foundation's Director of Urban Growth and Land Use Policy will be speaking about the advantages of Houstonʼs free market land use system, and how it compares to the traditional planning process.
