There’s nothing wrong with asking for a little help…

…especially if you’re the government and you’re asking the private sector to provide some much needed expertise and efficiency. GCN reports today:

The Transportation Department is looking to the private sector for help with certain financial-management support functions. In a recent notice, DOT said the winning bidder will provide a host of financial-management support services, including asset management, computer and financial-management systems hosting, telephony, network infrastructure and monitoring, and data center operations.
