George M. Gray

Bio
George M. Gray is Deputy Director and Regulatory Toxicologist of the Harvard Center for Risk Analysis. He holds a B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Toxicology from the University of Rochester. Dr. Gray’s research focuses on improving the scientific basis of risk assessment and the use of risk analysis to evaluate pollution prevention options. His policy work advocates complete risk characterization to improve decision making. Dr. Gray has worked with many companies and trade groups as well as federal and local government groups to increase understanding of the size and sources of health and environmental risks.
